About

Shay Id Alony born in 1974
lives and works in Tel Aviv.

My artwork is a result of the research I conducted on the personal, cultural, and figurative realms depicted through mediums of sculpture and installation. My main interest is in the representation of ritual energy with symbols of strength challenges, a sense of belonging, and even humiliation.

I earned my Masters degree in Fine Arts at the University of Haifa after studying interior design and architecture.

My education is apparent in my creative process: a constant research of the connections between body, object and space. My works expose the relationship and dialogue between the object and the user, the human quality and ambient of the environment, creating a new synthesis. The works representation of power and vulnerability.
